Service

Divi websites for content-heavy sites, with built-in split testing.

Divi's Theme Builder handles the site-wide layout, a large prebuilt layout library keeps the turnaround fast, and Divi Leads lets your team A/B test headlines and CTAs with no extra plugin. After handoff you edit visually on the page. I tune performance on top, because Divi ships a lot of CSS and JavaScript by default.

The build

What you get with a Divi build

What is a Divi website?

Divi is an all-in-one visual builder and theme from Elegant Themes. It includes a Theme Builder for site-wide headers, footers and dynamic templates, a large library of prebuilt layouts, and Divi Leads for split testing. It is one paid product with no separate pro tier, so every feature is available from day one.

What is included when I build your Divi site?

You get a custom Divi build from your design, or one I design with you first. Global colours, fonts and design presets are set once, so a brand change happens in one place. The Theme Builder handles header, footer, single and archive templates, and repeating sections are saved to the Divi Library. Divi Leads split tests are configured on the sections that matter, forms are wired and tested, and schema and meta are in place. On top of that comes a performance pass: static CSS generation, unused modules and features switched off, images and fonts optimised, critical CSS and script deferral. I supply the Divi licence key for your site, and you get a short screen-recorded walkthrough.

Who it is best for

Content-heavy sites such as blogs, resource libraries and long service pages; teams that want to run their own A/B tests; and businesses that want to self-edit after launch. If performance is the top priority, Bricks or a custom build is lighter. I also build in Elementor.

Green on desktop, honest about mobile

Divi ships a lot of CSS and JavaScript out of the box, so speed here is deliberate work: static CSS generation, unused modules and features switched off, images and fonts optimised, critical CSS and script deferral on top.

Straight talk: Divi is the heaviest of the mainstream builders. The report on the right is a real Divi site, Nomad Fatimata, at 96 on desktop. On mobile it lands at 69, held back by large hero imagery and Divi's baseline weight, and that is typical: expect the 60s to 80s on mobile depending on how image-heavy the design is. If mobile speed is a priority, Bricks or a custom build is the better call.

SEO and AEO from the first commit

  • Clean semantic HTML and one clear H1 per page
  • JSON-LD schema per template (Service, Article, FAQ, Breadcrumb)
  • Per-page titles, meta and Open Graph
  • XML sitemap, image alt text, sensible internal linking
  • Answers written as real questions so AI engines can quote them

Questions

Divi, answered.

How long does a Divi site take?

Most run three to five weeks: about a week for design sign-off, two to three weeks for the build, then a review round. Divi's layout library keeps standard pages quick; custom layouts and split tests add time.

Can I edit the site myself after handoff?

Yes. Divi edits visually on the page, global presets keep styling consistent, and reusable sections live in the Divi Library. You get a recorded walkthrough of the parts your team will touch.

What is Divi Leads?

Divi's built-in split testing. You can test two versions of a headline, button, image or whole section against a goal like form submissions, with no extra plugin. I set up the first tests on the sections that matter and show your team how to read the results.

Do I need to buy Divi?

Yes. Divi is a single paid product from Elegant Themes, with yearly or one-time lifetime pricing and no free tier. I provide a licence key for your site. If you take a maintenance plan that includes hosting, I cover the licence for as long as that plan runs.

Will Divi slow my site down?

It ships more CSS and JavaScript than a lean builder, so I tune it: static CSS, unused modules off, optimised images, deferred scripts. Desktop lands green. Mobile depends heavily on how image-heavy the design is, often the 60s to 80s, so if mobile speed matters most, Bricks or a custom build is better.

Do you provide support after launch?

Yes, either ad hoc or on a monthly retainer covering updates, backups, security and speed monitoring.

Cost

What it costs.

$18 / hour

A typical Divi marketing site runs about $250–$650. Fixed-price or hourly, both work through Upwork with escrow.

What moves the number

  • How many unique page templates you need
  • Whether design is provided or created from scratch
  • How much existing content has to be migrated
  • Integrations: CRM, booking, payments, membership
  • Timeline: genuine rush work costs more
