Bricks Builder websites, built lean and fast.

Bricks outputs minimal HTML and CSS, so your site is quick before a single caching plugin touches it. This portfolio is built in Bricks. Yours gets the same: a clean component system, green Core Web Vitals, and an editor your team can actually use.

The build

What you get with a Bricks build

What is a Bricks Builder website?

Bricks is a visual site builder for WordPress that generates its own lightweight theme. Unlike heavier builders, it does not stack extra wrappers and inline styles on every element, so pages ship less code and render faster. In practice that means stronger Core Web Vitals, less strain on your hosting, and a site that keeps its speed as it grows.

What is included when I build your Bricks site?

You get a custom Bricks theme built from your design, or one I design with you first. Styling runs through a real system of global classes and variables, not one-off tweaks per element, so the site stays consistent and easy to change. Every page type gets a reusable template (home, service, blog index, archive, single post), so adding a new page takes minutes rather than a rebuild. Forms are wired and tested, schema and meta are in place, and you get a short screen-recorded walkthrough so your team can edit content without breaking layouts.

Who it is best for

Agencies and businesses that want a fast, maintainable stack; anyone moving off a bloated page builder; and projects where performance and a clean handoff matter more than a giant third-party widget library. If you need a specific builder for other reasons, I also build in Elementor, Divi, and hand-coded WordPress.

90+ PageSpeed, passing Core Web Vitals

Every build targets 90+ on PageSpeed and passing Core Web Vitals on real hardware, not just a lab score. Bricks keeps the markup light; I handle image formats, lazy-loading, font loading, and critical CSS on top of that.

Straight talk: the report on the right is a live Bricks build, Talent Cleaning Services, at 98 desktop and 96 mobile with every Core Web Vital in the green. Not every project lands there, heavy hero video or a slow host will pull mobile down, but a lean Bricks base makes scores like this realistic rather than lucky.

SEO and AEO from the first commit

  • Clean semantic HTML and one clear H1 per page
  • JSON-LD schema per template (Service, Article, FAQ, Breadcrumb)
  • Per-page titles, meta and Open Graph
  • XML sitemap, image alt text, sensible internal linking
  • Answers written as real questions so AI engines can quote them

Questions

Bricks, answered.

How long does a Bricks website take?

Most builds run three to six weeks: about a week for design sign-off, two to four weeks for the build, then a review round. A one-page site or a template swap on an existing build can be faster.

Do I still need a caching plugin with Bricks?

You still want caching and a CDN in production, but Bricks starts from a much lighter baseline, so the plugin has less to fix and the site holds its speed under load.

Can I edit the site myself after handoff?

Yes. The build uses reusable templates and global classes, and you get a recorded walkthrough. Most content edits are point and type, and structural changes stay safe because styling is centralised.

Can you rebuild my existing site in Bricks without losing SEO?

Yes. I map every current URL to its new equivalent, keep titles and headings intact, carry over metadata, and set 301 redirects so rankings transfer.

Is Bricks better than Elementor?

For raw performance and clean output, Bricks usually wins. Elementor has a larger widget and template ecosystem. If you want the lightest stack and a developer-friendly build, Bricks is the better fit, and I build in both.

Do you provide support after launch?

Yes, either ad hoc or on a monthly retainer covering updates, backups, security and speed monitoring.

Cost

What it costs.

$18 / hour

A typical Bricks marketing site runs about $200–$550. Fixed-price or hourly, both work through Upwork with escrow.

What moves the number

  • How many unique page templates you need
  • Whether design is provided or created from scratch
  • How much existing content has to be migrated
  • Integrations: CRM, booking, payments, membership
  • Timeline: genuine rush work costs more
