The brief

A remodel is a big decision, so show the work

Inside Out Home Remodeling is a Fort Collins, Colorado contractor doing kitchen, bathroom and whole-home remodels, window and door installation, and repair work including light electrical, plumbing and water-damage restoration build-backs. Roughly 35 years in business, more than 1,200 projects, a 5.0 Google rating and BBB accreditation.

A remodel is a big, considered decision. The site had to prove craftsmanship with photography and reviews, walk homeowners through a reassuring process, cover the full service range, and make booking a consultation or calling straightforward. By necessity, it is an image-heavy site.

What I did

Show the work, carry the reviews, make booking easy.

  • Elementor build with a photo-forward layout: full-bleed hero, project imagery and a before-and-after slider
  • Service cards for home, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, with the repair and restoration work called out
  • A trust strip up top: years in business, projects completed, and the Google review count
  • A three-step "our work process" from consultation to execution, to set expectations
  • A consultation form and click-to-call, with the phone number pinned in the header
  • Local service-area copy for Fort Collins, plus LocalBusiness and FAQ schema, metadata and Open Graph
Speed proof

The build is correct, the images need a pass.

Perfect on correctness, work to do on load

Best Practices and SEO both score 100, on desktop and on mobile. Cumulative Layout Shift is near zero, 0.001 on desktop, and Total Blocking Time is 0 ms, so the structure and scripts are clean.

Straight talk: mobile Performance is 57, the lowest in this set, and desktop is 74. The reason is the imagery. This is a remodeling portfolio, so it is photo-dense, and those photos are not yet sized and compressed for the viewport. Largest Contentful Paint is 3.0 s on desktop and 15.8 s on mobile as a result. The fix is a straightforward media pass, responsive image sizes, WebP compression and lazy-loading below the fold, and it is the next job here.

Outcome

What it does now

The site shows the work, carries the reviews and the track record, walks homeowners through the process, and makes booking a consultation easy. The structure scores full marks. The image pipeline is the one piece of work left, and it is scoped.
