People arrive here worried, and short on time
Alliant Disability is a law firm that does one thing: represent people in Social Security Disability claims, SSDI and SSI, on contingency, so the client pays nothing unless benefits are awarded. It is based in Orlando and takes cases nationwide.
Most visitors land here after a denial, or with a new diagnosis that means it is time to apply. The site had to earn trust quickly, show the firm's track record in front of administrative law judges, explain a confusing process in plain steps, and make starting a free case evaluation the obvious next move, ideally without leaving the first screen.
A hero built to convert, and a process explained plainly.

Desktop is solid. Mobile needs a round of work.
An honest read on the numbers
Desktop Performance is 85, with First Contentful Paint at 0.7 s, Total Blocking Time at 30 ms and a perfect zero layout shift. Best Practices scores 100 on both desktop and mobile.
Straight talk: mobile Performance is 63. Layout stability and script execution are fine, the problem is paint time. The full-bleed hero photo and the embedded case-evaluation form both load above the fold, and on a throttled phone connection that pushes Largest Contentful Paint to 7.4 s. The fix is a lighter mobile hero, a deferred form mount and trimming the third-party trust widget. It is scoped, and it is the next task on this site.

The site leads with the case-evaluation form and the firm's hearing-room numbers, walks a first-time claimant through the process in four steps, and keeps a free consultation one tap away on every screen. Desktop performance is where I want it. The mobile paint-time work is scoped and scheduled.
